Regardless of the season outside, candlelit dinners are truly beautiful, incredibly candid and always romantic. And yet, how do you incorporate as many candles as possible into your Big Day’s décor? What are some of the ways to do this?

We have some ideas for you – so read on and steal some inspiring ideas.

  • If you want to create a soft light and if you want to add a pop of color to your wedding too, create your own luminaries. Take glass containers and stick velum rectangles on top. Place small candles inside and watch these beauties warm up your wedding atmosphere!
  • Floating votive candles. This one’s a classic, but it will always work with weddings that are elegant and suave. Simply place votive candles in glass containers with water and they will look amazing!

  • Illusion candles. Want to create a great illusion with your candles? Take one glass container, fill it with water and place another, smaller glass container in it. Place your candles in the second container and it will look as if the candles are submerged, while still being lit up. Stunning!
  • Mirrors and candles. Want to enlighten the space of your wedding reception? Create centerpieces that incorporate mirrors and candles. For instance, you could place a larger mirror in the center of a round-shaped wedding table and place the candles on top of it. The light from the candles will reflect beautifully in the mirror!
